I hate when I get too busy with everything to keep up with the blog...no excuses, but the past few months have been crazy.

But this is too cute not to share. I have been lucky enough to have several sessions with Emma in the past and she always gives me a great session. The cupcakes? She was totally in her element, lol...

One busy summer....

So much to share, so many beautiful sessions....but baseball, football and family vacations keep me away from blogging these days! One to share until after vacation...then I'll update all of you!

A wedding...

Been super busy, and of course, I'll post more later, but.....
Kristen - you look beautiful, but you could seriously pass for 16 years old! What I wouldn't give to look a decade younger than I am, haha! You were a beautiful bride...many years of happiness to you and Kyle!

Taking a little breather....

A couple of weddings, lots of senior kids, modeling portfolios, my middle son's graduation from 8th grade, my youngest's First Communion, putting together the 8th grade video, baseball games, volleyball games........phew. Things have been so crazy and hectic....FUN, but crazy and hectic nonetheless. Oh and did I mention a hard drive crash? :(

So, having a photo shoot with Kristin, on a beautiful-Chicago-almost-summer night was just....awesome. So pretty...so sweet...and so fun. Now that I've wrapped up a good amount of my projects, you will be able to view your session very, very soon, Kristin! A little preview...

Madeline....

Aside from being just.plain.gorgeous., Madeline also had the talent of attracting all the wildlife around us. Geese flying overhead, a skittish dog that wouldn't leave us alone...and a rat. Yes, a very large rat hanging out at the bank of the pond. Hmmm...what will we see next time? Can't wait to find out - I had so much fun with ya!!!

An important message...

You may remember a couple of years ago, I posted that a fellow photographer and her family were met with a tragedy that is so heartwrenching... just inexplicable, really. As a result, they are pleading to get Ava's message across in the hopes that the knowledge will help someone else to NOT have to go through what they did.
