I've been a bad blogger...

But, in my defense, hasn't this season been CRAZY for everyone? Between gifts and school programs and basketball tournaments and photo shoots and cards and last minute....EVERYTHINGS....there's hardly been a minute to breathe.
I know there are so many more pictures to put up...but as you can see, something is a bit wonky with my blog as of late. The pictures are posting kind of weird...the sizes seem condensed in some cases. (just click on the picture to see the "true" image!) Another thing on the list to do! For now, here are some of the recent shoots... I hope everyone takes some time to wind down now that the holiday stresses are diminishing. Enjoy your families...appreciate the good...make new resolutions to fix what isn't working!

Haven't seen this girl since she was a little, little girl!!! Such a beauty.... we tried to sneak in a shoot on a COLD, COLD afternoon... look for another little session to follow!!!

A girl and her.....duck.

Here you go, Hannah...you and Sweet Pea! This is the first request I've gotten to photograph a senior girl with her pet duck, haha! Not sure that will ever come up again. All you blog readers out there...did you know that a duck can eat a 4 inch praying mantis while you watch? ...that the duck's favorite snack is frozen peas? The duck was adorable, but didn't quite steal the show from the beautiful Hannah. Thanks for the fun day, guys!!! We'll talk soon...

The season change is definitely under way...

Chicago is certainly living up to it's "Windy City" nickname these days...and coupled with the COLD, COLD temps it seems we are turning the page into winter. The cold didn't seem to bother "G", though! (If it did, he really hid it well!) You were great to work with, kiddo! Here's the couple I promised!
